What's Happening at Book Readers Heaven - "I Had A Dream..."

 

I didn't purposely choose the words of Martin Luther King, although I had remembered them just as I was typing the heading of today's announcement here at Book Readers Heaven... But I have to think using his thoughts is surely going to be part of what will come...

I did indeed have a dream last night. It woke me up about 2AM and I lay there, my head spinning of all the thoughts that were flooding, swirling in my mind... Was it my thoughts or God-given? I no longer try to differentiate...

As you know, I've been fumbling with the approach of sharing my memoir. There are many posts with the hashtag "Open Memoir" which you may have already read... This dream--so jumbled, confusing, and chaotic, was a wakeup call you might say. Like, there is indeed a story to tell, but it has little to do with me personally... That is merely having a central main character from which a story can be told, don't you think? So, what I plan to do henceforth is use my sister blog, Just My Personal Opinion, Of Course, only, in writing these internal thoughts and concerns. I had earlier used it to try to pull things together and will not delete those posts... 

But, I will be using one song as a basis--a central point--by which this story of a life, any life, can be told, or compared. My main goal, now, is to stir up the world with what has evolved and is now occuring on planet earth... Yes, I do mean the World... 

You see, with the new technology, there is no way to actually create statistics of where and how many have viewed a specific post here on Blogger... What I can tell is that I have visitors from all over the world! Just as I did in my earlier years of providing book reviews. I'm so happy to see that, perhaps, many of you are my same readers from those earlier years. If not, I want to tell everybody that I believe that each and every visit to this Blog is because you were meant to visit. For whatever reason you may have had... I welcome you and hope that some of my posts have been of value in some small way to each of you...

I will be using the same process now being used. I will be using complementary videos of either music, news, or historical information, to document or add support to my personal thoughts. One of the reasons I have chosen to write is, of course, because of the, in my opinion, total loss of our ability to know what is, these days, Truth. We already know that there is corruption at every level and across the world. We may not know names but we do know of the results of that corruption.

What we do know is that little, and now, nothing, is being done to eliminate or hold accountable those who are corrupting the world in any and many ways. I don't see my role to identify specific people or actions. Rather, I use myself, just one individual of, maybe, what they refer to as middle-class--whatever that means... I know my background. I know that my life has improved in some ways... But I also know that my life has deteriorated as well...

Why as I doing this? Because, simply, I believe I am supposed to. I read alot as you all know. Many books I've read was because many authors had asked me to read their books. Many books have been those which I would not have chosen to read. And, yet, the wealth of knowledge I have gained through those books has added richly to my life in one way or another. The thought of people deciding to ban or even, in older days, burn books brings about a viseral reaction that confirms...that...this...is...just...wrong... And, I believe, is being purposely done to prevent the average individual, like myself, to learn and thrive and grow personally...and...professionally...

At the end of each post, I will be using the same song. But from a different, stronger perspective, to illustrate how I have seen the world change in the last 80 years... Yes, just 80 years... Because, I have seen that, even WWII, during which I was born, did not bring about any changes to those who chose/choose corruption... And, we are now seeing a full-blown version of such corruption... May God Be With Us All!

From the standpoint to differentiate the two blogs, I will be aiming my perspective on my sister blog on the evolution I have seen and/or personally experienced during my life. I welcome comments, as always... After all, it is only through communication can we discover that we really are no different, even if we live far apart, speak a different language, or just think of things from a different perspective from what I'm shared... All Words Matter!
