Honoring Native American Heritage Month - Spotlighting Manny Monolin Moreno, Ongoing Contributor, and Shout-Out to Lakota Man!

Note: I included this book, because I want to also acknowledge our historical past!
I will be reading and later reviewing...

My brother (adopted) Manny has become an important part of my life... And, maybe many of you also! You will find him on Facebook, sharing about his daily life, his concerns, fears, and sometimes worry about where his next meal will come from... But, mostly, he thanks his Ancestors, and moves forward each day, striving to talk about his life, and share the treasure-trove of pictures of his family that had been recently given to him. Manny is a poet, a writer...

an artist, photographer, but more, he is an Elder, who strives to participate, whenever possible, in those celebrations that will bring Native Americans together in love, loyalty and honor... How I would love to travel across America and sit with him during these special times... or just walk with him, and "maybe" even taste cactus! Manny has become a wonderful photographer. I love the "rockface" of an ancestor, perhaps?

Good morning
Thank you.
As the sage burns, I give thanks for another day to live. Let it be a good one for all of us.
Have a blessed day with much healing.

Being connected to my ancestors, makes me want to walk daily in a good way. Because they watch me. Not perfect without challenges,
but the best way I can.
The reason I like to drive out into a remote place by the water, and spend time there, is because there are no disruptions but the movements and sounds of nature. I'm not judged but welcomed as a relative. My thoughts stop being chaotic and all out of whack. The world creates all of this and nature welcomes me back into reality, free of human precepts and laws and confusion and fear. Listening to the water and wind and animal relations talk, cleanses my soul.

It is where my heart and spirit can hear in a kind of silence, the voice of spirits and Creator.
I don't feel alone.
Enjoy your afternoon.

Good morning
Thank you.
I watched the sun rise again. The same sun I see from here, is the same sun you see there.
I'm moving slow and easy. No hurry. Homie grubbed and now rests up against me. The cat was abandoned three years ago and ended up looking for a home here. A good friend now. Nice and plump and guardian of my place.
Have a blessed day with much healing. Grandfather loves us.

It Was A Good Day!

On the other hand...

Shout Out to Lakota Man!

It seems on "X" Lakota Man was "partially" shadow banned...whatever that means! I wrote that he was fading, fading, fading...almost like the white men did to indigenous people hundreds of years ago... I recommend you go over and follow him if you are a loving, giving, person who recognizes truth when we see it... Hey, maybe I'll be fading out soon too... NOT!

White squaw not allowed to speak in front of rich white men? Hey, sorry, folks, I didn't plan to end this post this way...BUT it is our reality now! Or is it? Yes and No?

Do you seek, speak and shout We Want Truth! We want Freedom! We Want our Democracy! All are equal in America under OUR Constitution!

God Bless America! LAND OF THE FREE!
We must fight Hate, Prejudice and Violence with Truth...and God's Love for all Who He Created!

A Final Thought...Many who are of a different heritage have been treated unfairly most of their lives...as was their ancestors... I believe that while Hate runs rampant through America--the World--that this is the Time For Those Who KNOW God's Truth, God's LOVE...to speak out, act...
We see who the haters are, we see what they are doing...Speak Out and Disagree! For, maybe the first time in your life, do not let white men say that We Are Not United Under God! Created In His Image...The Image of ALL Beings! If you believe that Hate does not have a place in America...SPEAK YOUR TRUTH AND ACT OUT YOUR TRUTH IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. GOD DOES NOT SUPPORT HATE AND DIVISION.

Manny and Lakota Man are out there letting us know...We Are Still Here, Even Through Hate and Violence... We Are Still Here! God Bless Those Americans who He placed on land here in America, long before all of us even existed... Think about that, and try to explain just why many Native Americans are living day to day, sometimes having to beg for food and shelter...

THIS IS NOT RIGHT!
You all know that I believe in Jesus who died for us...so that there would be no more violence...Only His Love...
Jesus is Weeping...

Whew, I have to say that I didn't plan this last part of the post. Spirit seems to have taken over... Do you Listen to Spirit--that Spirit Who Speaks of Love? I try... Will YOU try too?

Matthew 18:2-5

2
He called a little child and had him stand among them. 3And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me."
